Welcome to Rational Music Studios! 

 

Greetings from Miss Clara Zhang, concert pianist and piano teacher at Rational Music Studios. 

 

All ages and levels are welcomed to enroll at our studio. Lessons are offered conveniently either in your home or at our studio on Manhattan’s upper east side.

  Rational Music Studio Program    

The Rational Music Method is a teaching philosophy created by Miss Zhang as a result of her own experience as a teacher and a concert pianist. It focuses on thinking and understanding - not rote repetition. 

 

We offer 30, 45, 60 and 90 minute weekly private piano instruction. It is essential for students to take piano lessons on a regular basis. Especially for younger students, we recommend to taking lessons on a weekly basis.

  Studio Lessons    

Miss Clara accepts dedicated students of all ages and abilities. Her studio is located on Manhattan’s upper east side.  The studio features a 1928 vintage Steinway B (6’11”) rebuilt in 2012 by notable piano technician Tali Mahanor.  

  In Home Lessons   

For your convenience in home lessons are also available in Manhattan and outer boroughs.  Please contact us for more information.
